The Industrial Decarbonization Network | Shaping the Future of Industrial Sustainability
Our Story
The Industrial Decarbonization Network was founded in 2021 as a spin off of Oil and Gas IQ - the world's largest oil and gas community in the world, founded in 2008. Originally called The Industrial Transformation Network, the purpose was to be the go-to-source of information, insights, events and more for the industrial sector - covering topics such as digital transformation, the connected worker, automation, decarbonization and more.
Since October 2022, our core focus pivoted to addressing the urgent need for news and insights in the industrial sector focusing on decarbonization and sustainability. With the major success we have had in the last 6 months, we have now officially rebranded ourselves to the Industrial Decarbonization Network!
Who are we?
We are an online community network for global sustainability and decarbonization leaders in the industrial sector. Our editorial and production team works hard to deliver the latest industry insights, thought leadership, and analysis through physical and online events, written articles, webinars, white papers, case studies, in-depth market reports and more.
We serve as a knowledge hub, bringing together industry leaders, experts and stakeholders to exchange ideas, share best practices, and collaborate on solutions for industrial decarbonization. We cover a wide rage of topics including methane mitigation, fugitive emissions, carbon tracking and reporting, ESG, sustainability, CCUS, energy transition and more.
We aim to be the industry go-to source for the latest insights, events and networking opportunities for industry leaders. We recognize the importance of this space and identified the need for a forum through which industry practitioners could connect with each other on a regional and global basis.
Most recently, we have brought together hundreds of industry leaders at our Methane Mitigation Event Series in the United States, Canada and Europe. Global leaders from across the world discovered how methane reduction is being shaped by the global regulatory landscape, discussed the key pathways to lowering emissions and how to build innovative partnerships to accelerate abatement efforts, and explored how to improve the reliability and credibility of their methane emissions data. If you're interested in joining your peers, you can view our upcoming events here.

'A lot of value specially to people who are just engaged on this subject. Opportunity for collaboration between companies (Operators, technology and consulting companies)'. Director of Curriculum New Energy, Schlumberger
'Attending an event like this is mission critical, to ensure that knowledge is exchanged between those that are trying to reduce their methane emissions - progress is going to be much slower than if we can accelerate knowledge exchange through events like this.' Consultant, OGMP
'The conference has been extremely informative. Getting to meet other folks in our industry but within ESG and sustainability has really been important to understand their thoughts and what’s influencing them and just create those networks and relationships.' Chief Sustainability Officer, Civitas Resources
'Have you ever been in a room full of humans all focused on understanding and mitigating methane in the energy space? I have…and it was spectacular. Communication is key to solving complex problems. We’re in it together.' Director of Technical Sales, Project Canary
'Good content, very good networking.' Sr. Principal Environmental Consultant, Phillips 66
'Thank you for such a terrific summit. It's so good to be in person again. These gatherings give us a boost of activation energy'. Vice President, Low Carbon and Sustainability, bpx energy
