Mario Berra

Mario Berra is SVP Americas & Global Manufacturing for BIC. He is responsible for 18 Stationery and Shaver manufacturing plants operations. This includes five in America, five in Europe, four in India and four in Africa. Mario joined BIC in 2012 as the Mexico Industrial Director. He was promoted to VP Manufacturing Stationery Americas & Mexico in 2015 and again in 2020 when he assumed his current role as SVP Americas & Global Manufacturing. In his current role, he is responsible for ensuring safety operations, optimizing production capacity, efficiency and resources in order to meet BIC’s financial and manufacturing objectives. Mario has more than 24 years of experience in Industrial & manufacturing leadership and before BIC he led operations and different type of projects in other global companies such as Electrolux, Samsung, LG and Daewoo leading international projects in South Korea, US and Mexico with the experience of 7 new manufacturing sites start up. Mario holds a Production Industrial Engineer degree from IPN in Mexico City.
