12:00 PM Workshop I: Optimizing Offshore Operations: Innovation in Methane Detection and Reduction

From remote locations to extreme weather conditions, offshore operations present unique challenges for methane detection and reduction. As the industry grapples with these complexities, innovative technologies and strategies are proving to be essential for effective emissions management. This workshop will focus on the latest advancements in methane detection and reduction, offering practical solutions tailored to the offshore environment.

Join this workshop to:

  • Compare the performance of various methane detection sensors in offshore environments, focusing on sensitivity, durability and maintenance
  • Understand best practice in using remote sensing techniques offshore, considering obstacles such as extreme weather and surface water reflection
  • Conduct a cost-benefit analysis of deploying different methane detection technologies in offshore operations, assessing initial investments versus long-term savings
