Maan is currently holding the position of Green Energy & Environmental Policy Director in Saudi Aramco since February 2023. He is leading the company efforts in diverse functions including but not limited to: Corporate Decarbonization Strategy, GHG Emissions Management, Green Energy Program including offsetting & nature-based solutions, Biodiversity Protection, Wetlands Strategy, Sustainability Reporting, Environmental Policy Shaping, and Awareness & Outreach. Prior to that, Maan was holding the position of Digital Engineering Solution Head in Saudi Aramco back in August 2022. Responsible of the company 4th Industrial Revolution Center (4IRC) which is the company corporate digital think tank that provide the space for employees to initiate, develop & deploy technologies pertaining to digital transformation tracks. He is leading major company investments related to sustainability & digitalization. In August 2019, Maan was appointed as the Manager of Technical Services Department (TSD) of Saudi Aramco’s subsidiary in Europe, Aramco Overseas Company BV (AOC), headquartered in The Hague, The Netherlands. TSD Manager is responsible about the Quality Management Division, Engineering & Technology unit, satellite Research & Development Centers for Upstream and Downstream business lines located in Delft, Paris, Aberdeen & London in addition to his role as Project Management Team Regional Director covering all Aramco projects in Europe, Africa, Middle East and part of Asia. Maan was also appointed as Aramco Indonesia President back in October 2020 where his responsibility is to manage the operation of Aramco project management team in Indonesia. Maan graduated from King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals (KSA) in 2001 with a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering.
