Joining the Kathairos leadership team in 2024, Bunkie brings over 17 years of oilfield experience in the strategic development and commercialization of new technology at the intersection of energy, environment, and digitization. Through previous roles within GE Oil & Gas, GE Global Research, Baker Hughes, and Project Canary he has developed specialized expertise in the effective measurement, reduction, and monetization of emissions from oil and gas operations. His background in ClimaTech innovation and domain knowledge of North American unconventional oil and gas production have led to the development and commercialization of multiple technologies focused on emissions mitigation. Bunkie holds both bachelor's and master's degrees from the University of Oklahoma Price College of Business with a specialization in energy, economics, and marketing. Based in Oklahoma City, OK he and his three children enjoy all things outdoors. His family’s love of the outdoors fuels his professional passion to deliver on the dual challenge of enabling energy prosperity while continuously improving environmental sustainability.
