Stefano Guglielmo has over 13 years of experience in the energy sector, following his graduation in Materials Engineering in 2011. He began his career at Italgas, where he acquired extensive technical expertise in gas distribution. His roles included Head of Monitoring and Technical Support (2011-2015), Operations and Maintenance Center Manager (2015-2017), and Business Process Manager (2017-2018), working across various regions in Italy. From 2018 to 2021, Stefano held the position of Operations Network Area Manager in Sicily, where he demonstrated his leadership and management skills. He then took on a key staff role as Head of Grid Management Central Services (2021-2023), overseeing odorization, metering inspection, and LDAR and MRV programs. Since 2023, Stefano has been serving as Head of Asset Performance & Technology at Italgas Reti. In this role, he manages technical regulations, asset management for networks and plants, remote control and automation, and the development of LDAR programs and MRV for fugitive emissions. He is also responsible for defining fugitive emission reduction programs and pipeline replacement protocols, leveraging innovative technologies like CRDS and developing smart maintenance tools in line with UNEP standards. Additionally, he actively participates in the Oil and Gas Methane Partnership (OGMP).
