On July 15th, the first-ever EU regulation to reduce methane emissions, the EU 2024/1787, was published in the Official Journal of the European Union. This expert dialogue will bring together key industry voices and operators to discuss actionable compliance strategies and address the changes that this landmark regulation is expected to bring. This includes: 

• Identifying the key compliance requirements of new regulations 
• Analysing technological advancements and the operational needed to meet the new regulatory standards 
• Recommendations for internal re-structuring for compliance: outsourcing vs in-house expansion  
• Evaluating financial risks and opportunities: assessing the costs of implementation, potential revenue streams from emissions reduction and market shifts away from fossil fuels  
• Strategies to stay competitive while also ensuring compliance 

A vital element of new regulation is the EU import requirements. Within this new context, the need for establishing equivalency between international MRV frameworks has never been more important and is critical for ensuring transparency and energy security. This session will:
