A vital element of new regulation is the EU import requirements. Within this new context, the need for establishing equivalency between international MRV frameworks has never been more important and is critical for ensuring transparency and energy security. This session will:  

• Debate whether EPA requirements can simply be accepted as ‘equivalent’ despite technical differences 
• Offer an un-biased overview of existing certification standards and their viability within this context 
• Explore the potential role of OGMP 2.0 
• Identify necessary developments over the coming months and years 
• Question how energy security can remain a key priority
