Having first received OGMP 2.0 gold standard recognition in 2021, 2025 marks the year in which bp will have completed measurement campaigns at every one of their assets. This encompasses 8 different geographical regions, including Trinidad & Tobago, the North Sea, Azerbaijan, and Egypt. In this case study, Isabella will share the first retrospective analysis of bp’s methane journey, and their in-depth data analysis used to guide concrete abatement action. This includes: 

• Formulating data-driven strategies and abatement targets 
• Evaluating challenges and how they have been overcome  
• Leveraging data sharing between organisations to derive patterns or anomalies  
• Optimising internal processes to promote efficient measurement and reporting of methane emissions
