Dr. Bastian Lang

Asset Manager Gascade

Bastian Lang is a distinguished Methane Expert at the German Transmission System Operator (TSO) GASCADE, where he has been dedicated to this critical field since 2018. He oversees the entire methane-related agenda within the company, maintaining vital communication with regulatory authorities, coordinating efforts for the Oil and Gas Methane Partnership (OGMP), and spearheading new initiatives to implement the European Methane Regulation. Additionally, Bastian serves as the co-head of the Emission Working Group at the German Association of System Transport Operators (FNB Gas) and leads the Methane Working Group at Gas Infrastructure Europe (GIE).
