Methane Emissions and Renewable Gases Process Research Engineer GRTgaz

Working in GRTgaz R&D center for more than 4 years, she is currently piloting gas detection activities. Recognized as an expert inside the group, she focuses on the development of solutions to reduce methane emissions, testing of sensors, and assessing customers on site level campaigns (choice of technology, data analysis, reconciliation process).

Main Conference Day 1: Wednesday 26th February

2:10 PM Panel: Assessing the Viability of Continuous Monitoring in Context

We all know methane emissions are defined by their intermittent nature and in comparison, to mobile sensing devices, CEMS present a unique opportunity to detect emitting events in real-time. However, several key questions remain regarding accuracy and implementation. In this expert dialogue our panel will:

  • Evaluate the probability of detection and the viability of continuous monitoring data within the reconciliation process
  • Debate if continuous monitoring be an accepted method for OGMP 2.0
  • Explore common challenges faced in implementing continuous monitoring systems, such as data integration, equipment maintenance, and regulatory compliance
