Senior Engineering Specialist, Sustainability & Emissions Management Team ATCO

Ryan is a Senior Engineering Specialist within the Sustainability & Emissions Management team at ATCO. Prior to his current role, Ryan held several roles within ATCO including leadership roles within the Facilities Engineering and Operations Engineering groups, and frontline roles within the Compressor & Salt Caverns Engineering, Transmission Engineering, and Standards groups. From his broad engineering experience across ATCO, he has become a subject matter expert in multiple codes and standards including CSA Z662, ASME B31.3, and ASME BPVC while navigating multiple regulatory and legislative boundaries. He is currently managing a program to improve measurement of emission sources at ATCO’s facilities across the province of Alberta, evaluating opportunities for emission reductions, and leveraging his wide-ranging knowledge across ATCO Gas to bring its varied internal stakeholders together in alignment.
